Description:

Sales Area managers (SARs) are responsible for generating sales for a company. The SAR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact in specific area. The SAR responsibilities include building strong relationships with customers and potential new customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and develop sales reports. SAR also answer client questions and identify new business opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify potential customers
  • Present the company to potential prospects and build long-term relationships with them
  • Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services through direct telephone, emails, LinkedIn or in person
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Negotiate quotes and orders with clients
  • Follow the internal workflow – estimates, jobs, deliveries, invoicing
  • Build and develop relationships with customers and potential new customers based on trust and respect
  • Weekly review of leads developed, new leads/estimates/jobs added ; keep records and generate reports on all phases of activities
  • Keep informed on new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers, through completion of sales training and self-study
  • Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
  • Report to the Sales Director on sales results
